Full Charge Bookkeeper

Salary: $24.00 to $26.00 hourly

Description

Robert Half is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client based in Jackson, Mississippi. This role involves managing financial records, processing transactions, and maintaining the general ledger in the industry. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently process financial transactions and maintain accurate records
• Develop and implement bookkeeping policies and procedures to establish a systematic accounting system
• Verify, allocate, and post transactions to maintain accounts
• Reconcile entries to balance accounts
• Ensure the general ledger is maintained and balanced
• File documents to maintain quality historical records
• Collect, analyze, and summarize account information to prepare financial reports
• Review payments received, record deposits, and craft accounts receivable invoices
• Utilize accounting software systems for various accounting functions
• Execute bank reconciliations and cash flow analysis
• Prepare and maintain the annual budget
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Use Microsoft Excel for various tasks
• Process journal entries and use QuickBooks for various functions
• Utilize bill.com for various tasks
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to prepare and manage the Annual Budget
• Proficient in Cash Flow Analysis
• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Familiarity with bill.com platform
• Proficient in preparing and managing Journal Entries
• Extensive experience with QuickBooks software
