We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience with various bookkeeping tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
- Perform data entry for accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare and process payroll
- Assist with tax preparation and filing
- Generate financial reports for management review
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in tax procedures and regulations
- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping
- Experience with Sage or similar accounting software
- Ability to perform clerical tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with accounts receivable and payable processes
- Understanding of debits and credits
- Strong 10-key typing skills
- Skill in account reconciliation
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience in bank reconciliation
