Robert Half Finance & Accounting has partnered with a locally owned organization as they look for a strong, experienced Accountant to join their team. As the successful candidate, you will report directly to & work closely with leadership as you:
- Oversee accounting and serve as the primary point of contact for accounting-related inquiries from key stakeholders.
- Coding of Accounts Payable (AP) transactions and ensuring compliance with contractual language.
- Use multiple software tools to manage and analyze data.
- Perform & support month-end close and timely financial reporting.
- Support the budget process.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 2 years of strong general accounting & month end close experience.
- Experience with day-to-day transactional accounting functions (AP& AR)
- Prior experience supporting the budget process, in any capacity, would be ideal
- Experience in property management accounting is ideal, but not required
- A bachelor's in accounting or finance preferred, but NOT required
