We are offering an exciting opportunity for a General Accountant to join our client in West Central Minnesota. In this role, you will be expected to maintain accurate financial records, process accounting entries, and liaise with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial information.

Responsibilities :

• Accurately processing accounting entries such as accruals, prepayments, and adjustments to guarantee precise reporting
• Conducting regular reconciliations of bank statements, intercompany accounts, and other balance sheet accounts
• Assisting in the preparation and review of financial statements and management reports
• Collaborating with both internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Ensuring compliance with audit requirements and implementing recommendations where applicable
• Supporting the development and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial accuracy
• Identifying opportunities for automating and streamlining accounting processes
• Participating in system upgrades and integration efforts related to financial systems
• Utilizing various accounting software systems, including Acumatica, Peachtree Sage, and QuickBooks
• Utilizing advanced Excel formulas for financial analysis and reporting
• Assisting in the preparation of reports for regulatory filings and tax preparation.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in a General Accountant role
• Experience in Account Reconciliation and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
• Ability to analyze Financial Statements and prepare Financial Statement
• Excellent Communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel Formulas and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Acumatica, Quickbooks and / or Peachtree Sage software
• Experience in handling Annual External Audit
• Proficiency in Journal Entries and Journal Entry Preparation
• Experience with Month-end Journal Entries
