Description
We are in the search for a Help Desk Analyst I to be a part of our team in Greenville, South Carolina. As part of the IT infrastructure team, your role will involve handling customer support requests, ensuring smooth hardware and software operations, and coordinating with our international team and external partners. This role provides an opportunity for contract to permanent employment.
Responsibilities:
Administer the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations
Efficiently handle and maintain records of helpdesk tickets pertaining to hardware, commercial applications, and network issues
Address second line support issues and escalate to other IT resources as necessary
Coordinate with our team in the United Kingdom and third-party companies for repairs and support
Ensure stock of computer consumables is maintained
Install necessary hardware and software, while adhering to license compliance
Provide coaching to end-users on PC based packages such as Word, Excel, etc.
Undertake IT project-based work within your scope of expertise
Perform user and system administration tasks as required
Take responsibility for daily backup routines and ensure their validation
Record all IT asset movements in the extranet and inform the Finance team about fixed assets when necessary
Update and maintain systems related documentation.
Requirements
Proficiency in Active Directory is required for user account management and troubleshooting.
Demonstrated knowledge of Computer Hardware to effectively resolve hardware-related issues.
Familiarity with Configuration Management to ensure system stability and performance.
Ability to handle Support Tickets, prioritizing and resolving them in a timely manner.
Experience with Ticketing System to track, document, and manage user requests.
Proficiency in Azure Active Directory for managing cloud-based user accounts and services.
Experience with Desktop Imaging for efficient system setup and reconfiguration.
Strong background in Desktop Support to assist users with software and hardware issues.
