We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I in the manufacturing industry based in Frankfort, Kentucky. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, modification, and minor repair of computer hardware and software systems. You will also provide technical advice and support to system users, ensuring the smooth operation of our information systems.
Responsibilities:
Installation and uninstallation of software as required, including the application of software patches
Maintenance of computer hardware and software systems, ensuring optimal functionality
Providing technical advice and support to system users, addressing hardware and software errors
Proactive identification and resolution of potential issues to prevent larger problems
Logging of all problem calls in the helpdesk tracking system, including categorization of information and prompt response to users
Execution of network backups, maintaining the integrity of the system through periodic testing
Communication with the IS manager regarding all activities, providing suggestions for improvements and documenting these in a suitable format
Adherence to cyber-security requirements in line with NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, IATF, and HIPPA standards
Undertaking of additional projects as assigned, ensuring familiarity with all IS standards and procedures
Support of company goals by understanding how IS fits into the larger business context.
Requirements
Entry-level position requiring 0 years of experience in a related field.
Familiarity with Mac computers and Apple devices is crucial.
Proficiency in Microsoft software and applications is required.
Experience with Active Directory is necessary.
