Robert Half is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician for one of our clients in the North Houston area. If you have 2-5 years of help desk experience, this could be the job for you! This is a long-term contract to full-time opportunity that requires 100% onsite work for our client. Problem solvers who enjoy working in a challenging and positive environment may do well in this position. The work schedule is 100% ONSITE WORK.
Coordinate hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors. Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters. Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems. Create records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities. Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals. Rectify computer problems and suggest appropriate action/solutions. Requirements
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Bilingual in Spanish and English Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude. Help Desk support or related experience. Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10. Microsoft Office 365, VPN support, and Azure Active Directory experience required. VoIP Phone support, Ringcentral is a plus.
