We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an HR Coordinator in the transportation industry, based in Fresno, California. As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks to support our HR team. Your duties will include handling recruitment processes, maintaining employee records, resolving benefits and payroll issues, and coordinating training sessions.
Responsibilities
- Administering and managing recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks
- Maintaining and updating HRIS entries and keeping employee records up to date
- Resolving payroll and benefits-related issues promptly and efficiently
- Coordinating and organizing training sessions for staff development
- Handling internal and external HR-related inquiries in a detail oriented manner
- Administering benefits plans, including changes and enrollments
- Utilizing various HR software such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, and Ceridian
- Applying knowledge of HR functions and regulations to daily tasks
- Conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar HR Coordinator role within the transport industry
- Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
- Knowledge and experience in using ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
- Familiarity with Ceridian and Dayforce software
- Experience in utilizing About Time software
- Proven skills in auditing and conducting background checks
- Extensive understanding of benefit functions within a HR context
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
