We are in search of an HR Generalist to join us in Scottsdale, Arizona. In this role, you will be accountable for managing payroll and benefits, ensuring compliance with labor laws and HR policies, overseeing recruitment and talent management, addressing employee concerns, and providing general HR and safety compliance support.Responsibilities:• Accurate and efficient processing of payroll, while ensuring adherence to labor laws.• Management of PTO tracking and benefits enrollment, acting as the main point of contact for related employee inquiries.• Administration of the company's 401(k) plan, including annual reporting and compliance tasks.• Maintenance and updating of the employee handbook and HR policies, guaranteeing compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.• Management of employee records, certifications, and licensing as required.• Overseeing the recruitment process, from job postings to interviews and onboarding.• Collaborating with leadership to develop succession planning and retention strategies.• Conducting of background checks and ensuring proper employment verification procedures are followed.• Addressing employee concerns and providing guidance on company policies and HR best practices.• Overseeing performance evaluations, disciplinary meetings, and terminations as needed.• Developing and managing training programs to maintain compliance and support employee growth.• Serving as the main point of contact for HR-related inquiries, including payroll, benefits, and company policies.• Conducting audits for workers' compensation and ensuring proper documentation and compliance.• Maintaining vehicle registration records for company trucks and MVR records for authorized drivers.• Overseeing new subcontractor agreement packets, ensuring verification of Tin Checks, certificates of insurance, and ongoing documentation updates throughout the year.• Handling contract procurement responsibilities where safety requirements are involved.• Ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and acting as the company's point of contact for safety coordination.• Maintaining and overseeing OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and other safety training requirements for employees and subcontractors.• Collaborating closely with leadership to analyze compensation trends and recommending updates to pay structures.• Maintaining knowledge of HR best practices, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
