We are in search of a Bilingual HR Generalist to join our team in the Wholesale Distribution industry, situated in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, you will be tasked with handling employee-related concerns, assisting with new employee onboarding, maintaining both electronic and physical filing systems, and ensuring compliance with HR Policies and Company Guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Independently address and resolve employee issues and concerns in a fair manner
- Assist with the orientation and onboarding of new hires as necessary
- Ensure all pre-employment and ongoing requirements are met for all employees
- Craft and revise various types of communications, ranging from letters to reports and instructional documents
- Maintain and manage both electronic and physical filing systems
- Implement HR Policies and Company Guidelines on a daily basis
- Collaborate with all departments and managers regularly
- Maintain schedules and order to meet deadlines and appointments
- Ensure the confidentiality of information and documents at all times
- Possess the ability to speak, understand, and translate Spanish & English dialects fluently.
- Proficiency in Benefit Functions, with the ability to manage and administer employee benefits effectively
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to efficiently liaise with various departments and stakeholders
- Strong understanding of Compliance requirements and regulations within the Wholesale Distribution industry
- Demonstrated experience in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution and performance management
- Familiarity with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and its application in a workplace setting
- Fluency in the Spanish Language to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking employees or partners
- Proficiency in Spanish Translation, to ensure clear and accurate communication across different language speakers
- Experience with Paylocity software for efficient HR operations and management
- Knowledge of QuickBooks for efficient financial tracking and payroll management in the HR department
