We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Purchase, New York. This role involves supporting our HR department with various tasks related to hiring, maintaining records, and facilitating communication. You will be a part of a team that interfaces with numerous managers nationwide and handles a significant volume of applications weekly.Responsibilities:• Facilitate the hiring process by handling tasks such as processing employment applications, conducting DMV checks, and executing background checks.• Provide excellent customer service to managers and potential employees throughout the hiring process.• Manage a significant workload confidently and efficiently.• Utilize Office Suite to maintain accurate records and perform tasks.• Employ various HRMS systems, such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, and About Time for effective HR management.• Conduct auditing and benefit functions as required.• Ensure a smooth transition for new hires by assisting with onboarding processes.• Support the HR department with any additional tasks as needed.
