Our client, an American television sports network, is seeking a Counsel to add to their nimble legal team in Secaucus NJ. Our client has won multiple Emmy awards, broadcasts live regular-season games, original programming, highlights, and insights and analysis from the best in the business. The legal team is high volume and fast paced. We're looking for professional, 'roll your sleeves up', and team-oriented professionals.Daily Responsibilities:Draft and/or negotiate a wide variety of agreements: services agreements in support of studio and remote production operations, software and other technology-related agreements, transmission related agreements, event-related agreements, talent agreements, distribution agreements and license agreements (e.g., content).Draft, negotiate, and coordinate with internal groups on clearances, including location releases, appearance releases, and consents.Assist with counseling various departments on transactional, business, and legal matters pertaining to remote operations, field and studio production, affiliate sales and distribution, marketing/on-air promotions, music and media clearances, privacy and security, information technology and engineering, finance, and human resources.Must haves: exposure to production, distribution, IP, rights and clearances work.HYBRID in Secaucus, NJ 4 days in/1 day at home.
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
