Description
We are looking for a skilled IT Generalist to join our team in Andrews, Texas. In this role, you will be tasked with managing and troubleshooting various IT systems, including LAN/WAN and Programmable Logic Controls. This opportunity offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Title: IT Engineer
Location: Andrews, Tx
Duration: 6 month Contract to hire
Pay: $40-45 per hour
Responsibilities:
Efficiently manage and troubleshoot LAN/WAN systems
Work with Programmable Logic Controls
Handle computer networking fundamentals such as routing and switching
Support Windows desktops and laptops
Resolve issues related to Wireless LAN and Ethernet desktop configuration
Maintain and troubleshoot surveillance cameras
Assist with basic understanding of DHCP, DNS, IP addressing and subnetting
Replace peripheral devices and troubleshoot hardware issues
Provide assistance to Operations staff as needed
CCNA certification would be a plus.
Requirements
Possession of a Cisco CCNA certification
Proficiency in managing and maintaining LAN (Local Area Network)
Experience in handling WAN (Wide Area Network)
Expertise in Windows OS operation and troubleshooting
Capability to work with Programmable Logic Controls
