We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Attorney / Lawyer in Tampa, Florida. As an Attorney / Lawyer, you will be involved in various aspects of corporate governance and transactions, including maintaining corporate registrations across multiple states, negotiating and amending legal contracts, and handling some aspects of litigation.

Responsibilities :

• Assist with the maintenance of corporate annual registrations across multiple states
• Engage in the negotiation and amendment of agreements and contracts
• Handle corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions
• Manage approximately 300 client accounts, with a focus on contract signing
• Address liens and legal issues related to corporate governance
• Resolve customer inquiries and monitor customer accounts for necessary action
• Process legal contracts and agreements in an accurate and efficient manner
• Utilize skills in corporate legal, corporate maintenance, and corporate governance to ensure smooth operations
• Use knowledge of legal contracts and legal agreements to protect the interests of the company
• Leverage experience in mergers & acquisitions (M& A) to facilitate corporate transactions.
• Must have at least one year of experience as an Attorney / Lawyer.
• Proficiency in corporate legal practices is required.
• Must have experience in corporate maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge and understanding of corporate governance is essential.
• Previous experience with corporate transactions is needed.
• Ability to negotiate contracts effectively.
• Must have handled contracts in previous roles.
• Experience in drafting and reviewing legal contracts.
• Must have worked on legal agreements.
• Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) is highly desirable.
