We are partnering with a prominent National Bankruptcy and Restructuring consulting firm located in Woodland Hills seeking a contract-to-hire Junior Bankruptcy Case Manager to assist in a variety of matters.Top applicants will have 2 years' of exposure to Bankruptcy Law, great Excel skills, and an eagerness to manage and take on a caseload of their own. This role is hybrid in Woodland Hills. This firm will also look at candidates in Chicago, IL, Houston, TX, Boston, MA, or New York, NY to work in one of their satellite offices.Responsibilities include:• Manage and process client data for the Creditor Matrix and Schedules and SOFAs.• Conduct research to locate missing creditor contact information for the Matrix when necessary.• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned cases, handling emails and phone calls accordingly.• Develop and update the First Day Workbook and Schedules and SOFAs tracking sheet regularly.• Ensure the debtor's website and 800 number with voice message script are properly set up before case filing.• Liaise with clients for any additional information required for case filing.• Draft and amend Schedules and SOFAs as requested by clients for their review.• Review Disclosure Statement and Plan for details on voting parties, balloting, and the solicitation package.• Create a template for the Plan Class Report and send it to the client for approval after IT populates it.• Review AOS’s as requested by the Noticing team and provide support to Claims and Noticing teams as needed.
