We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join our team in Akron, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support in a legal setting, including managing calendars, supporting litigation processes, and utilizing various software tools for efficient operation.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing knowledge of litigation support to assist attorneys in case preparation and management
- Managing and coordinating schedules and calendars to ensure smooth workflow
- Leveraging Adobe Acrobat for document management and organization
- Operating various Microsoft Office Suites applications to facilitate work processes
- Using Microsoft Outlook for effective email communication and scheduling
- Drafting and editing documents using Microsoft Word and ensuring their accuracy and completeness.
- Proficiency in Litigation Support, with the ability to efficiently manage cases and legal documents.
- Solid experience in Calendar Management, capable of scheduling and organizing meetings, court dates, and deadlines.
- Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat for creating, editing, and managing PDF documents.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, able to use these tools for document preparation, data analysis, and presentations.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook for managing emails, contacts, and scheduling appointments.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word for creating, formatting, and editing legal documents.
