We are working with a top rated law firm looking for a litigation paralegal to join their team. This role revolves around providing comprehensive support for litigation management and operations, including document management, timeline creation, and attorney coordination.Responsibilities: • Efficiently manage and track key litigation events and deadlines using firm operating systems.• Play a crucial role in the development and upkeep of a database/spreadsheet summarizing matter status and workflow management systems.• Assist in the initial review of file materials and preparation of summaries outlining factual background and claim/litigation status.• Help develop and maintain a key document/template library, and assist in preparing standard correspondence, including tender letters.• Coordinate and respond to written discovery, including the organization and review of discovery materials and other document productions.• Communicate effectively regarding discovery and document issues with witnesses and clients.• Prepare case management statements, declarations, and court filings under attorney supervision, ensuring procedural rules compliance.• File legal documents with courts and coordinate delivery of courtesy copies to judges.• Conduct detailed research using public records and legal databases such as Lexis and Westlaw.• Prepare and manage legal documents, forms, charts, correspondence, and other client-related materials with attention to detail and quality assurance.• Support case preparation, including proofreading, cite-checking, and creating indexes for long-term storage.• Assist in trial preparations by preparing exhibits, binders, and other case materials as needed.• Manage the drafting, tracking, and coordination of authorizations for the release of sensitive medical, financial, and business records.• Assist attorneys and fellow paralegals with mailings, filings, and document production processes, including redacting, copying, and Bates stamping.• Verify legal citations in briefs and other court filings.• Provide general administrative support, including maintaining attorney working files, entering data, and performing database research.• Contribute to team development and efficiency by performing additional duties as assigned
Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
