We are in search of a Marketing Manager specializing in Consumer Insights to be a part of our team based in the City of Industry, California. This role is responsible for guiding key marketing and business development strategies to bolster revenue. This includes overseeing digital media investments, supporting strategic technical sales efforts, and delivering consumer insights to guide the research and development (R& D) and sales teams. These insights support strategic plans for flavor creation and product development, ultimately driving successful new product launches in both areas. The role also requires significant involvement in art direction and content creation. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting business development by providing actionable consumer insights and implementing effective marketing strategies.
Responsibilities : Consumer Insights
- Conduct research to identify trends and emerging market opportunities.
- Develop detailed internal insights briefs.
- Explore new approaches to gather and analyze consumer data.
- Evaluate product concepts through external service providers for internal and customer use.
- Plan and execute both internal and external consumer research projects.
- Coordinate external sensory studies in partnership with third-party vendors.
Marketing
Team Oversight
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Consumer Insights or Marketing, preferably within food and beverage
Background in food and beverage product development or sensory science is advantageous
Comprehensive marketing expertise, including social media management (LinkedIn), content writing and publishing (SEO, Google Analytics, A / B testing), and familiarity with tools like MailChimp and Hootsuite for multichannel digital campaigns.
Proficient user of Adobe Creative Cloud software, including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Lightroom.
Strong familiarity and experience with WordPress.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Proficiency with AI tools for copywriting, graphic design, and social media analysis.
Experience in graphic design and creative abilities, including infographic design to present technical data and insights effectively.
Familiarity with market research platforms and the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
Education Requirements : Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Food Science, or Food Technology.
