Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Administrator to lead the design, implementation, optimization, and security of our LAN/WAN infrastructure, including both cloud-based and on-prem solutions. This role will be integral to managing our Azure infrastructure and responding to alerts across a range of infrastructure technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in network infrastructure management, cloud environments, and troubleshooting in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Network Infrastructure Management:Lead the design, implementation, and management of LAN/WAN networks (cloud and on-prem).Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of network systems.Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across various layers (physical, data link, network, transport).Cloud Infrastructure (Azure):Lead and execute the design, build, security, and optimization of the organization's Azure cloud infrastructure.Ensure cloud-based networks and resources are secure, efficient, and scalable.Implement and maintain network connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.Monitoring and Response:Monitor and respond to NOC (Network Operations Center) alerts, addressing a wide array of infrastructure technologies and identifying potential issues proactively.Provide real-time troubleshooting and analysis for network outages, degradation, and other related incidents.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate issues and prevent downtime.Security:Implement security protocols and controls to protect both cloud and on-premises network infrastructures.Conduct regular security assessments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.Documentation & Reporting:Maintain comprehensive documentation for network architectures, processes, and procedures.Create and update reports regarding network performance, security, and incidents.Collaboration & Support:Work closely with IT teams to provide seamless integration of network solutions with other systems and services.Offer expert-level support for network-related issues and initiatives across the organization.
