We're seeking a Network Engineer to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This role primarily involves managing network administration tasks, such as installing and configuring our network infrastructure, implementing maintenance processes for network stability and performance, and developing policies and procedures to ensure network integrity.Responsibilities:• Install and configure network infrastructure to meet organizational requirements.• Onboard network devices into monitoring and security platforms.• Develop, implement, and adhere to change management practices.• Conduct studies on system usage, make recommendations for improvements, and determine network system requirements.• Carry out tuning and capacity planning activities to optimize network resources.• Develop project plans for scheduled refresh and network version upgrades of existing systems.• Document network information, including drawings, IP addresses, circuits, network device configurations, inventory, changes, and outage information.• Analyze and define disaster recovery responsibilities and procedures.• Monitor network availability and performance reports, determine necessary changes and adjustments, and implement remedial measures.• Troubleshoot, resolve, and document network production problems.• Define operational, technical, and support requirements for the location, installation, operation, and maintenance of the network and supporting technologies.• Support objectives in the design, planning, installation, maintenance, tuning, and documenting of secure network facilities.• Monitor and define the requirements of the overall security of the enterprise network.• Coordinate with staff and direct external contractors and vendors.
