Our client in Morristown, New Jersey is seeking a Payroll Analyst on a long term contract basis. The Payroll Analyst must have previous multi-union payroll processing experience. The Payroll Analyst will also be responsible for handling employee inquiries, maintaining accurate payroll records, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations. Previous experience with Ceridian Dayforce is a plus! This is a hybrid schedule.

The Payroll Analyst will also be responsible for handling employee inquiries, maintaining accurate payroll records, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations. Responsibilities
- Accurately process and audit both union and non-union data inputs for bi-weekly payroll using the Ceridian Dayforce system
- Calculate and process timesheets, attendance records, and other relevant data to ensure accurate payment to employee
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payroll promptly
- Maintain organized payroll records, including information on employees, timesheets, divisions, locations, departments, supervisors, and tax withholdings
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to relevant departments, management, and external stakeholders as necessary
- Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll matters professionally and promptly
- Review and process wage garnishments, child support, and subpoenas as required by law
Requirements
- Proficiency in Ceridian and Dayforce software
- Experience with 401k - RRSP Administration
- Familiarity with About Time software
- Knowledge in various Accounting Functions
- Proven skills in Auditing
- Ability to handle Benefit Functions
- Experience in Payroll - Union and Union Contracts
- Understanding of Multi-state Payroll operations
- Expertise in Payroll Taxes
