As a Payroll Clerk, your primary role will be to manage and ensure the accuracy of our payroll system, handle sensitive employee information with utmost confidentiality, and streamline our payroll processes.
Responsibilities
• Accurately input, update, and maintain payroll data, including hours worked, wages, deductions, and benefits.
• Regularly review and reconcile employee timesheets, promptly addressing any discrepancies.
• Accurately prepare and process payroll for all staff, strictly adhering to all relevant federal, state, and company policies.
• Handle all necessary documentation for new hires, ensuring they are correctly set up in the payroll system.
• Maintain strict compliance with all applicable wage laws and keep confidential payroll records in line with data protection policies.
• Contribute to the payroll team by assisting with special projects such as audits, system updates, or process enhancements.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is necessary
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now is desirable
• Knowledge of Ceridian software is beneficial
• Mastery of Dayforce is preferred
• Proficiency in About Time software is advantageous
• Understanding of Accounting Functions is essential
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Auditing skills are necessary
• Familiarity with Benefit Functions is important
