Dynamic organization is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to lead and manage our payroll operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of payroll experience, 5 years of supervisory experience, and hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. The Payroll Manager will oversee the payroll team to ensure compliance with applicable laws, timely and accurate payroll processing, and alignment with company policies and objectives. This role is a key part of our Finance & Accounting team and requires a high level of professionalism, leadership, and technical payroll expertise.Key Responsibilities:Payroll Operations Management:Oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with regulations.Maintain payroll systems and ensure efficient workflows, compliance, and accuracy in calculations.Team Leadership and Development:Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of payroll professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.Conduct performance evaluations, coach employees, and oversee goal-setting for the payroll team.Compliance and Reporting:Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, including tax filings and employment standards.Stay updated on applicable laws, industry standards, and changes to payroll processes or tax requirements.Prepare and present payroll-related financial reports, including reconciliations and audit support.System Optimization and Process Improvement:Continuously evaluate payroll systems and processes, identifying opportunities for automation and optimization.Partner with IT and other stakeholders to implement system updates or enhancements.Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.Stakeholder Collaboration:Serve as the main liaison between the payroll department and internal/external stakeholders, including Finance, HR, vendors, and auditors.Communicate payroll-related matters clearly and effectively to employees and management.Audits and Risk Management:Coordinate payroll audits (internal and external) to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.Address any discrepancies or findings with appropriate resolutions.
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
