Our rapidly growing client is in search of a Payroll Manager to join their team in Whites Creek, Tennessee. This is a temporary role that could become permanent for a rockstar candidate. As a Payroll Manager, you will be tasked with reviewing and managing payroll for our employees located across multiple states. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, maintaining employee records, and handling employee inquiries related to payroll.Responsibilities• Manage multi-state payroll for our workforce - salary, hourly and day pay• Handle payroll reporting tasks with precision and accuracy• Communicate effectively with our team, helping them to become independent in managing their work hours and filling out time cards• Ensure payroll compliance in accordance with state and federal laws• Process garnishments accurately and in a timely manner• Maintain strong employee relations with a focus on payroll-related matters • Oversee the production and distribution of W2 forms for employees• Collaborate with the HR team to maintain accurate employee records and handle payroll inquiries.
