This long-term contract/contract to permanent opportunity offers a hybrid schedule after getting settled into the role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing weekly payroll for approximately 4,000 employees, handling administrative tasks, and assisting with payroll-related inquiries. While prior payroll experience is a plus, it is not required. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.Key Responsibilities:Process weekly payroll for approximately 4,000 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Open and sort incoming mail related to payroll.Respond to payroll-related emails and inquiries from employees in a professional and timely manner.Enter garnishments and payroll deductions into the payroll system accurately.Ensure all payroll data is accurately recorded and up to date.Assist with resolving payroll discrepancies or concerns.Perform general administrative duties related to payroll and employee records.Assist in preparing reports or summaries as needed.Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information.Collaborate with HR and other departments on payroll-related issues and updates.
