The role is for a Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director, where you will be tasked with managing payroll functions, training, and development of the team, and streamlining processes and procedures in a growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Administer and maintain accurate records of employee benefits, including 401k and health insurance options
- Utilize HRIS software such as Workday and ADP for processing and managing payroll
- Assist in the hiring process for the team, ensuring the right talent for the right role
- Train and develop team members, enhancing their detail-oriented skills and growth
- Establish and implement processes and procedures as the company continues to grow
- Handle reporting tasks, providing accurate and timely reports for decision making
- Hands-on payroll processing, ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on time
- Comply with SOX regulations, ensuring all payroll activities are in line with legal requirements
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and procedures, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the role of Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director
- Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services for payroll management
- Demonstrated expertise in utilizing ADP Workforce Now
- Knowledge and experience in using ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
- Proficiency in Crystal Reports for creating custom reports
- Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration, managing retirement savings plan for employees
- Strong understanding of Benefit Functions, including planning and administering employee benefits
- Proficiency in using Workday for managing payroll and other HR functions
