In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations. You’ll manage tax deductions, support audits, and collaborate with internal departments to maintain accurate payroll tax processes for our large employee base.Key Responsibilities:Manage the accurate and timely processing of payroll taxes for a workforce exceeding 10,000 employees.Maintain and update payroll tax records in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.Serve as the primary point of contact for tax authorities and respond promptly to inquiries.Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving discrepancies.Monitor changes in payroll tax legislation and ensure ongoing compliance across the organization.Partner with HR, Finance, and other departments to address payroll tax-related matters.Calculate and process payroll tax withholdings and employer contributions.Ensure timely remittance of payroll taxes to relevant government agencies.Prepare and file payroll tax returns, including Forms 941, 940, and applicable state filings.
