We are seeking a dedicated Payroll specialist to join our team in Elmwood Park, New Jersey. This role involves processing payroll for hundreds of employees, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process payroll for 300-400 employees in a timely manner
• Manage and maintain accurate financial records using various accounting software systems
• Handle all aspects of union payroll, ensuring all regulations are adhered to
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Maintain effective communication with the team, consisting of two people plus this position
• Perform various accounting functions, including accounts payable and auditing
• Manage benefit functions as part of the payroll process
• Ensure adherence to all financial processes and regulations.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a payroll position
• Proven track record in managing payroll processes and operations
