Product Manager
Contract Type: 6-12 Months, Contract-to-Hire
3-4 days/week Hybrid in King of Prussia, PA
Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager to lead the modernization and consolidation of our order management and invoicing system. This role requires a strategic leader who will act as the primary point of contact between business operations, IT, and external partners. The Product Manager will collaborate across multiple teams to ensure successful program execution, from visioning through delivery and adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap to modernize order management and invoicing systems.
- Serve as the management focal point, bridging communication between business units, IT, and strategic partners.
- Translate strategic direction and business priorities from program sponsors into actionable product plans.
- Partner with Product Owners, PMO, and functional teams to ensure quality across the product lifecycle.
- Facilitate the creation of the product vision and goals in collaboration with Product Owners and program sponsors.
- Define product MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and gain necessary approvals.
- Establish a clear product roadmap and timeline, identifying key dependencies, risks, and resource needs.
- Maintain ongoing communication with sponsors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Lead and participate in meetings such as Product Team updates, Steering Committee reviews, and PMO sessions.
- Provide regular updates on project milestones and deliverable status to relevant stakeholders.
Product Delivery & Quality Assurance
- Work with IT Project Managers to translate the product roadmap into technical priorities and build plans.
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure traceability to original requirements.
- Coordinate user training, launch activities, and hypercare support post-launch.
Issue Resolution & Change Management
- Manage issue resolution, risk mitigation, and change request processes, ensuring alignment with project scope and budget.
- Act as a business proxy when required to support the product team.
- Communicate business process changes to relevant teams for effective change management planning and execution.
Documentation & Content Management
- Manage content creation, documentation, and communication plans for program activities.
- Utilize project artifacts, tools, and templates to capture outcomes, next steps, and decisions.
- Travel: Occasional travel to company facilities may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience managing digital programs involving web portal development, deployment, and system integration.
- Demonstrated expertise in driving Salesforce implementation
