New in Conroe, TX! Our client is seeking to hire a Project Accountant to join their team.
In this role, you will be working closely with project managers to manage the project financials for an assigned number of projects and ensure all costs are documented. This role will also help in preparing financial statements and the month end close process.
Responsibilities
- Track costs specific to assigned projects and communicate directly with external and internal stakeholders.
- Help in managing month end closes activities.
- Ensure financial reporting is documented properly
- Manage budgeting and forecasting for each project.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 2 yrs of Project Accounting experience - with WIP/POC experience
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
- Have AIA billing exposure.
