We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Purchasing Agent located in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana. This role entails strategic sourcing and buying operations for our centralized team, with the flexibility of reporting to our office for three days a week and working remotely for the remaining two days.Responsibilities:• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP Solutions for efficient management of buying processes.• Assist in strategic sourcing operations and play a crucial role in our centralized contracting team.• Maintain and manage records using Great Plains (GPAC) and Epicor.• Oversee accounting functions and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) duties and ensure timely payments.• Monitor and manage budget processes, ensuring financial efficiency.• Employ 'About Time' for time management and productivity enhancement.• Aid in the establishment and implementation of buying processes.• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all purchase orders and contracts.
