Responsibilities
- Enhancing and managing relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Accurate creation and management of purchase orders
- Regular communication with suppliers, ensuring efficient tracking of shipments
- Utilizing the ERP system, specifically Dynamics, for various tasks
- Working collaboratively with other departments within the organization
- Conducting cost analysis to ensure optimal purchasing decisions
- Negotiating pricing and contracts with suppliers for the best possible terms
- Handling stressful situations professionally and effectively
- Selecting potential suppliers and maintaining vendor files
- Establishing and maintaining supplier agreements and contracts
- Managing buying processes and supplier relationship management (SRM) across multiple vendors.
- Proficiency in buying processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage vendor relationships effectively
- Experience in maintaining comprehensive vendor files
- Capability to handle multiple vendors concurrently
- Knowledge in SRM - Supplier Relationship Management
- Proficiency in selecting suitable suppliers
- Ability to identify potential suppliers
- Experience in formulating supplier agreements
- Familiarity with drafting and managing supplier contracts
- Skills in cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Dynamics
- Ability to negotiate pricing effectively
- Experience in negotiating contracts to achieve beneficial terms
- Proficiency in processing purchase orders efficiently
