We have an opening for a Quality Assurance Specialist with our client in the manufacturing industry, located in New Orleans, Louisiana. This role will focus on ensuring the highest quality standards of our products, specifically dealing with strict military specifications. The position is offer as a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Ensuring the correct materials and techniques are used for military packaging by thoroughly understanding material submittals• Utilizing technical drawings, manuals, and other materials to establish specifications, inspection, and testing procedures that align with military packaging requirements• Carrying out testing, materials/product inspections, and quality control activities to confirm compliance with military standards• Regular communication with client representatives and subcontractors to ascertain that construction and packaging details adhere to design and military specifications• Recording and monitoring daily production progress in comprehensive reports• Taking on additional tasks as necessitated by the team
