We are offering an exciting opportunity in the banking industry, located in Fostoria, Ohio. We are seeking a Risk Manager who will play a crucial role in our risk management activities. This role involves the development, implementation, and maintenance of our enterprise risk management, model risk management, and internal controls programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement enterprise and model risk management programs.
- Lead the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) function, including the development, creation, revision, and implementation of internal controls.
- Coordinate and conduct quarterly ICFR security rights reviews for all designated systems.
- Collaborate with internal and independent auditors to address ICFR related issues.
- Oversee the Association’s Risk Management Committee and Business Continuity program.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliant operational procedures.
- Work with the Director of IMD and General Counsel on cyber risk management and vendor management.
- Support senior management in ensuring the Association's safety and soundness and meeting key result ratios, targets, goals, objectives, and business plan metrics.
- Participate actively in Bank workgroups, including Data Stewards, ICFR, ICFR security rights, and ICFR SailPoint implementation.
- Advise and consult with Association departments and team members as needed.
- Proven experience as a Risk Manager in the banking industry for a minimum of 3 years.
- Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems.
- Demonstrated experience in handling Business Systems.
- Thorough understanding of Accounting Functions.
- Expertise in carrying out Auditing procedures.
- Ability to effectively Assess Risk and devise mitigation strategies.
