Position Overview:
We are seeking a Direct Hire Recruiting Specialist to join our team, responsible for a 50/50 split between business development and recruiting for permanent job placements. This hybrid role is ideal for a driven, relationship-focused professional who thrives in both sales and talent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development (60%)
- Proactively prospect and develop new client relationships through cold calls, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct recapture and cross-sell outreach to re-engage former clients and expand business within existing accounts.
- Partner with hiring managers and decision-makers to understand their permanent hiring needs and provide tailored recruiting solutions.
- Negotiate contract terms and placement fees to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Maintain and update a pipeline of prospective clients in the CRM system.
Recruiting (40%)
- Source, screen, and interview top candidates for direct-hire roles across various industries.
- Build a strong candidate pipeline through active networking, database searches, and referrals.
- Facilitate the end-to-end hiring process, including client-candidate matchmaking, interview coordination, and offer negotiation.
- Maintain regular communication with placed candidates to ensure a smooth transition and long-term success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3 years of experience in staffing or sales (preferably in a professional services or Digital staffing environment).
- Proven track record of business development success in a staffing or sales-driven role.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and balance priorities between client development and recruiting efforts.
- Experience using CRM and ATS systems to track activity and results.
