Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Assist with audits, both internal and external
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on best practices
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and system implementations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- Proven industry experience in Construction, Engineering, or Architecture (required)
- Strong understanding of WIP, job costing, and progress billing
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Spectrum, Oracle, Sage Intacct, or Acumatica
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
