The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records and account personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting functions for purchasing and sales departments.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.
- Manage corporate credit card activity, including employee expense reports and monthly statements.
- Reconcile general ledger, accounts payable, prepaid, and non-trade accounts.
- Perform inventory reconciliations and physical counts at period-end closings.
- Prepare and issue vendor payments across all companies.
- Support and guide accounts payable/receivable staff.
- Assist with budget planning and recommend procedural improvements.
- Record daily customer payments in the accounting system.
- Generate and distribute monthly customer, subsidiary, and division statements.
- Issue credit/debit memos for non-trade accounts as needed.
- Collaborate with Financial Controller on monthly statements and audits.
- Monitor and report daily bank balances across entities.
- Reconcile bank accounts for all companies.
- Assist with ad hoc tasks and special projects for executives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience
- Strong ERP system knowledge & experience
- Excellent financial analysis and reporting
- Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
