We are seeking a Senior Director of Finance to join our team in Vienna, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for leading financial consolidation, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards, and providing strategic financial insights. Your role will also involve managing intercompany transactions, overseeing tax compliance, and coordinating with regional finance leaders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead the financial consolidation process, including quarterly and annual reporting.
- Manage the corporate accounting team to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with financial reporting standards.
- Handle financial aspects of global entities, including intercompany transactions, eliminations, and transfer pricing.
- Coordinate the preparation and filing of SEC reports, collaborating with external auditors, legal teams, and financial partners.
- Ensure compliance with local and global tax regulations and assist in strategic tax planning initiatives.
- Lead the execution of external audits to meet regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with regional finance leaders across various regions to ensure a seamless global reporting process.
- Partner with leadership teams to provide financial insights, drive business decisions, and support strategic initiatives.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with a preference for candidates who have held leadership positions.
- Extensive knowledge of Accounting Software Systems is mandatory.
- Proficiency in using NetSuite for financial management and operations.
- Familiarity with SEC Reporting requirements, including Form 10-K preparation and submission.
- Advanced knowledge of Corporate Finance principles and strategies.
- Experience in managing consolidations, including intercompany transactions and eliminations.
- Strong understanding and practical application of US GAAP in a business context.
