Job Responsibilities:
- Administer weekly payroll processing ensuring accurate and prompt payments.
- Handle workers' compensation activities by filing claims, liaising with insurers, scheduling medical appointments, and following up on claim status.
- Manage benefits administration such as enrollment, termination, and answering employee queries about benefits.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
- Oversee FMLA by processing documentation, coordinating leave schedules, and communicating with employees.
- Discover talent through innovative sourcing and recruiting techniques.
- Actively participate in HR projects, recommend improvements, and implement approved changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR functions including payroll, workers compensation, benefits administration, and compliance with regulations such as OSHA and FMLA.
- Previous experience in a similar role in an HR department.
- Strong recruiting skills to identify, attract, and hire high-quality candidates.
