We are seeking a Sr. Accountant for our Security industry operations based in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be entrusted with the analysis of financial information, reconciliation of financial statements and accounts, and ensuring data accuracy. Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Hawaii due to the nature of the job requirements.Responsibilities:• Analyzing and interpreting financial information from various internal departments• Ensuring data accuracy by reconciling financial statements and accounts• Assisting in the process of month-end and year-end closes• Preparing, posting, and reconciling journal entries, including monthly accruals, deferrals, payroll entries, and intercompany charges• Conducting monthly reconciliation of bank accounts and balance sheet• Supporting internal and external auditors by providing necessary account information and documents for annual audits• Documenting existing processes and suggesting improvements where necessary• Upholding company financial processes and controls related to cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory management, accruals, project reporting, and revenue recognition• Keeping abreast with acceptable accounting practices and procedures• Ensuring confidentiality of company information at all times.
Salary : $72,000 - $75,000
