We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Downers Grove, Illinois. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be actively involved in managing financial processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting our organizational objectives. Responsibilities:• Oversee daily treasury operations, such as wire preparation, check voiding, and check reissues.• Utilize automated systems to manage cash-related transactions and streamline treasury functions.• Prepare, review, and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.• Assist in monitoring cash flow activity and provide insights to support liquidity management.• Perform periodic reviews of cash activity to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.• Collaborate with stakeholders to verify debt balances and reconcile loan accounts as part of the month-end close process.• Maintain and update debt roll forwards, ensuring all transactions and amortization are accurately recorded and aligned with reporting needs.• Handle standard journal entries related to cash accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.• Support audits by providing detailed schedules and responding to inquiries related to debt balances.• Maintain debt schedules and record standard journal entries based on already-developed amortization schedules.The hourly pay rate range of this position is $28.36 to $40, plus bonus.
