We are on the lookout for a Sr. Accountant to join our team located in Pinellas Park, Florida. As a Sr. Accountant, your main duties will revolve around cost accounting, financial reporting, and inventory analysis. You'll also be involved in month-end and year-end close processes and the preparation of annual budgets.Responsibilities: • Carrying out cost accounting tasks with precision and efficiency• Conducting in-depth inventory analysis for accurate record keeping• Preparing detailed variance reports to identify cost variances• Managing month-end and year-end close processes accurately and in a timely manner• Producing comprehensive financial statements and reports for management review• Developing and maintaining annual budgets to ensure financial health• Reconciling account balances and bank statements• Making journal entries as needed to ensure accurate accounting records• Utilizing Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline accounting processes• Maintaining a general ledger and conducting balance sheet reconciliations.This is a permanent position.
