The ideal candidate will be tasked with maintaining precise financial records and creating timely reports to aid in the effective management of resources.Responsibilities:• Accurately recording transactions, including accounts payable, receivables, and payroll, using accounting software.• Ensuring all financial records are complete and precise in line with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards.• Conducting periodic reconciliations of the general ledger and preparing journal entries.• Preparing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.• Tracking and reporting on grant funds to ensure compliance with donor stipulations and grant agreements.• Collaborating with program teams to provide accurate financial information for grant applications and reports.• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for financial management and reporting.• Executing monthly end close procedures and balance sheet reconciliations.• Performing account reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
