Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze financial data, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trends to provide actionable insights.
- Create and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives.
- Develop variance analysis and reporting tools to track financial performance.
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Lead annual budgeting processes and create rolling forecasts.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and prepare detailed financial plans.
- Monitor spending and projects to ensure alignment with budgetary goals.
- Accounting Functions
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Help ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or relevant local regulations.
- Work with auditors to facilitate reviews or audits, as necessary.
- Business Partnering
- Collaborate with department leaders to provide financial guidance and support operational strategies.
- Present financial data and insights to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Support decision-making processes by evaluating costs, risks, and financial feasibility of business initiatives.
- Process Improvement and Tools
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and leverage technology for efficiency.
- Use advanced Excel skills or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to streamline workflows.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting, public accounting
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in advanced Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
- Understanding of accounting standards such as GAAP or IFRS.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
