This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records by handling month-end close, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of GAAP and prior experience in the food manufacturing and distribution industry.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the general ledger.Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP.Assist in maintaining financial accuracy by reviewing and reconciling accounts.Support audits and provide necessary documentation as required.Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
