- Maintain item and costing master data within the ERP system to ensure accuracy and completeness of data used for inventory and costing purposes.
- Validate all item and costing master data prior to entry into the ERP system for reasonableness based on the Company’s master data requirements.
- Review manufacturing transactions on production orders for accuracy and completeness and ensure timely application of labor and materials to maintain effective/efficient production performance for the business.
- Work with Operations to review missing or unusual transactions on each production order and research large or unexpected manufacturing variances.
- End all production orders in the ERP system to ensure each production order is finalized timely.
- Prepare and provide production variance reports and other operational reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Serve as primary backup for Cost Accounting Manager to ensure there is coverage for all key responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Accounting, Finance, or Business
Cost Accounting and/or Accounting Processes preferred
Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
