STAFF ACCOUNTANT OPPORTUNITY IN MERRICK, LONG ISLAND Anna Parson at Robert Half is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a Manufacturing client. As a Staff Accountant, you will be tasked with handling both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, conducting bank and credit card reconciliations, and managing general ledger activities. In addition, you will be responsible for preparing journal entries and closing activities at the end of each month. As the Staff Accountant you will: • Process full cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Conduct reconciliation of bank statements • Manage general ledger activities and ensuring accuracy • Prepare and post journal entries as needed • Conduct month-end close activities in a timely and efficient manner • Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting activities • Perform credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy • Managing billing activities and resolving any discrepanciesSeeking a Staff Accountant that has an Excellent foundation in GAAP and is proficient in journal entries.
