We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Ranchester, Wyoming, United States. The Staff Accountant will be an integral part of our team, executing a wide scope of accounting tasks such as financial reporting, reconciliations, tax compliance, and maintaining internal controls. The role will require collaboration with our finance team and operations team.Responsibilities• Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of invoices and payments, while maintaining compliance• Assist in the maintenance of the general ledger, which includes reconciliations and journal entries• Contribute to the preparation of SOX narratives based on internal processes• Support accounts receivable reconciliation and collections efforts• Participate in maintaining and updating the fixed asset system for accurate depreciation tracking• Aid in preparing personal property tax and sales tax assessment reports• Support compliance with industry-specific financial regulations• Assist in conducting physical inventory calculations and reconciliation• Help with payroll processing and related reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll tax regulations• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency in accounting processes and participate in various ad hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned by management.
