We are offering an exciting opportunity in Des Moines, Iowa. The role is for a Systems Analyst in the tech industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating new APIs into existing applications and cultivating relationships with partner companies.
Responsibilities:
Constructing new APIs and integrating them into dynamic applications
Collaborating to address the complexities of APIs
Establishing and maintaining productive relationships with partner companies for seamless API integration
Working closely with the development team to enhance system procedures
Coding new APIs to expand the corporate footprint amongst provider partners
Handling queries and resolving issues related to API integration
Conducting API testing to ensure functionality and efficiency
Managing APIs through specialized gateways for optimal performance.
Requirements
Candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role is required.
Proficiency in API management is essential, with the ability to design, develop, and implement API strategies.
Experience with API gateways is a must, including understanding of routing, requests, and responses.
Strong skills in API testing are necessary, including automated testing and debugging.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with diverse groups of people.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong understanding of data analysis, data modeling, and relational database design.
Knowledge of system development life cycle (SDLC) and IT service management.
Familiarity with software and front-end development.
Willingness to stay updated with the latest technological advancements and trends in the field.
