We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Systems Engineer in LYON STATION, Pennsylvania. As a Systems Engineer, you will be integral in ensuring the high performance and availability of our mission-critical systems. You will be required to build, test, and deploy complex systems, as well as perform data backups, data migration, and disaster recovery operations. Your role will also involve providing technical support to users and providing support services outside standard business hours when necessary.Responsibilities:• Maintain high performance and availability of mission-critical systems• Conduct complex system and application upgrades• Handle storage and server data backups, and perform data migration and disaster recovery operations• Provide second level technical support for network or platform performance issues• Document system upgrade procedures and troubleshooting methods• Design and implement disaster recovery and high availability solutions to meet 7x24x365 company needs• Build, patch, test, and deploy complex systems and enterprise platforms• Provide after-hours support services, including nights and weekends, as required.
Salary : $48 - $55
